Mother's Day Card
Last night I started making a card for my mother from 1.30am..and I stopped only at 5.30am. That's four hours of coming up with the cover design and a rough draft of the content inside. This morning I woke up at 10.45..continued to mission and finished it only two hours later. I bought one maroon cover and one decorative sheet of paper for the content inside. But I ruined the latter because I used a silver pen that was too light to be seen on the light yellow parts of the paper. It looked quite nice at some angles but I'm sure my mum will find it hard to read. What a waste..the flowery background it had was really nice. Sigh. I re-wrote it on the inside of the maroon cover instead. It looks less feminine without the inner piece. But oh well. I am super duper sleepy and have yet to wash my face. My dad will be arriving from the airport soon and bringing me out for lunch. Mum's not even going to be at home until at night. She had some morning tea-session for members with this... (more)
